DYWIDAG recoMesh is an innovative permanent formwork made of bright drawn mild steel mesh, designed for ground beams, pile caps, and bases. Lightweight yet highly durable, it reduces the need for over-digging and excess concrete, while eliminating blinding concrete in ground beam applications. From 450 mm to 2700 mm Widths – Always a Perfect Fit
Manufactured in the UK, recoMesh units are available in widths from 450 mm to 2700 mm and a standard length of 2400 mm. Each unit is pre-marked for easy identification and pre-bent to match your design. Custom shapes are available upon request, and minor adjustments can be made easily on-site.
Made from 100% bright drawn mild steel (BS 4482)
Coated with 2×100 µm heat-shrunk polyethylene film
Cross-wires every 75 mm / Main wires every 150 mm
Only 1.6 kg/m² + 0.2 kg/m² film
No sharp edges or exposed wires
Each recoMesh unit is marked and shaped to match your schedule. Installation requires no specialist labour — tying wire, a knife and bolt cutters are enough. Paired with clip-on grade plate spacers, recoMesh maintains reinforcement cover and protects the film from damage. Fully compliant with BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
